MahaKumbh happens once every 144 years and is obviously the largest event on the planet. Over 40crore devotees will take a dip between the 13th of January and the 26th of Feb 2025. In a congregation as large as this, its important that to keep safe, ourselves and people travelling with us. Identity bands help Kumbh authorities identify the wearer in case of a problem and contact friends and family
How do these bands help during MahaKumbh
- In case of an emergency identification wrist bands help identify the person
- Bands are waterproof, do not tear, have strong adhesives, and remain strong even when wet. Kids or senior citizens cannot remove them easily
- Each band shows name of the wearer, wearer's Aadhaar and emergency contact details
- The phone number should be of someone who should be contacted in case of emergency. One such person may be a fellow traveler and another should be of someone not present at the mahakumbh. This person can be a family member or friend not travelling for the event
- Emergency during mahakumbh could be a person losing his way or lost, a stampede, accidents, or a fatal event in the absence of family and friends
- At the end of your trip, cut them with a pair of scissor and dispose
